Where in the World are our Alumni?


ALUMNI: Jack and Mason Kirschner-
Parents: John and Rebecca Kirschner
Jack started his senior year at CU Boulder after spending 5 months studying abroad in London and the UK.  His major of focus at CU is Integrated Physiology.  He is an EMT and has an internship at the School of Sports Medicine in the Track and Field department.  
Mason is a senior at EHS and works part time at Walmart. He has applied early to college and has been accepted at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.  Mason and his brother Jack had a wonderful mountain bike camping trip to Crested Butte in July with their friends formerly from RMAE, Jakob Koons and Hayden Cole. Both boys are looking forward to graduating this spring!
 
ALUMNI: Taylor Kitch Ross-
Parents: Marsha Kitch
Taylor went with Christ the King youth group and Darby May to Poland to see the Pope!!    Their trip was two weeks long and will be a trip that they will never forget.  They slept in a field with 3.5 million pilgrims and also visited Auschwitz and Budapest.
 
 
ALUMNI: Julianne, Katie and Ryan Wilson-
Parents: Jean and Dave Wilson
Julianne graduated from the Colorado School of Mines as a Mechanical Engineer in Dec of 2015.  She is now working in for Lockheed Martin in their Aerospace Department as is part of their Operations Leadership Development Program.  Her office is here in Denver. Katie is currently a Junior at the Colorado School of Mines and she is also studying Mechanical Engineering.  She worked this past summer as an intern for Phillips 66 in Billings Montana.  She is very active at school in the Greek life as a Pi Phi. Ryan has just committed to play soccer for the Colorado School of Mines.  He continues to play for the U18 Rush Developmental Academy. He is unsure of what he will study at CSM but is leaning toward Mechanical Engineering.

Michael just completed the EMT training with Evergreen Fire and is now in the EF/R academy.
 
ALUMNI: Brody and Quinn Taylor-
Parents: Marcia and Kevin
We have very fond memories of RMAE. We all consider it the building block of the wonderful young adults they are. Brody has just made the Colorado Rush DA team. Quinn is excelling on the court in Volleyball and is playing for Colorado Academy this year.
Both Quinn and Brody attended summer camp in California.
 
ALUMNI: Jordan and Cheyanna Duran-
Parents: Shannon and Jon Duran
Jordan pursued her artistic talent at RMAE and is still following her dreams of incorporating art in her daily life! Cheyanna performed at Carnegie Hall this summer and studied in upstate New York for a month. She is currently applying to music schools all over the US.
 
ALUMNI: Ryan Fessenmeyer-
Parents: Leann and Dan Fessenmeyer
Ryan was a lead in the school play with fellow alums Sam Cox (who played his girlfriend) and Luke Johnson. He is working toward his Eagle Scout badge and is an aspiring commercial pilot and has attended summer programs at Embry Riddle University, the top aviation school in the country for two summers. He worked as a lead sailing instructor at Dillon Junior Sailing while also serving as a restaurant host at Back Country Brewery in Frisco this summer. Ryan also performs guitar/singing with Joe Bye & Friends at various local venues including The Muddy Buck, The Woodcellar and others.
 
ALUMNI: Chynna Steuber -
Parents: Nichole Tzotke
Chynna is working at Vivians bakery and loving it! She has learned so much about baking:) She skipped playing softball this year to focus on newspaper the first semester since she has a lot of responsibility being chief editor. She will play basketball for CHS in the fall again. She received a letter from Metro State admissions director yesterday pretty much saying she's already been accepted and they will be waving all application fees and entry essay if she decides to attend! We are so excited! She really wants to take their fast track aviation program and become a commercial pilot. So it's between Metro and Western now.... But I think she's definitely leaning more toward Metro.
 
ALUMNI: Andrew and Jakob Montesi-
Parents: Dave and Tali Montesi
Andrew is a senior at EHS, the Drum Major for the Marching band and working towards the rank of lieutenant in Civil Air Patrol. Jakob water skied for the first time this summer (slalom) at Powell and is on the EHS football team.
 
ALUMNI: Jackie and Sam Theil -
Parents: Patti and Dave Theil
Jackie started at the University of Washington on their premed track. This summer she took the Wilderness Medicine First Responders Course so she is now certified to care for you if you would be hurt in the outdoors. She also completed ten years of training taekwondo with Nick Kapande. Before leaving for school and shortly after turning 18, Jackie  received her first degree black belt. Sam is attending Indiana University in the Kelley School of Business. He will be graduating one semester early this coming December. He is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. This past summer he interned at Nanosphere Health Science, a biotech company in the Denver tech center that specializes in applications of its delivery system.
 
ALUMNI: Lucas, Spencer and Tess Albert -
Parents: Sandra and Nils Albert
Lucas is a senior at CU, majoring in economics and finance. He interned with a venture capital company in Boulder and recently went on a service trip to Costa Rica for sea turtle conservation. Spencer is a sophomore at CSU, majoring in neuroscience for pre-med.  Playing long stick defender on the men's lacrosse team. He worked this summer at Hiwan as pool manager and spent much of winter break exploring south east Asia. Tess is a 4 year varsity lacrosse player and manages EHS football team.  She works at Tall Grass Day Spa. She also spent three weeks in Tanzania this summer, a service trip focusing on Wildlife Conservation with a branch of the Jane Goodall Institute
 
ALUMNI: Jack, Will, Sarah, and Anna Jermano -
Parents: Shawna and Mark Jermano
Jack is a senior at EHS and completed a 30 day backpack trip on a NOLS course in the Wind River mountains. He is a manager at the lake house. William is a junior and spent 10 days in Mexico over the summer spear fishing. He also works at the lake. Sarah and her sister Anna hiked their first 2 14 teeners this summer. 
 
ALUMNI: Weston Donati Leach -
Parents: Terri and Brian Donati Leach
Weston is president of EHS National Honor society for his junior and senior years and is co captain of EHS X country team. He placed 6th in Colorado for 800m run in track and field in 4A state championship and was first team all conference Jeffco, 4x800 meter relay and 800 meter run. He participated in Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps after his sophomore year and earned Rookie award for best visual effect. He was the youngest member of the corps during his year, 2014-15.
 
ALUMNI: Kira and Brady Neilander -
Parents: Linda and Jeff Neilander
Kira is s senior at the University of GA and will graduate with honors in May. She just completed a summer internship with Under Armour  - highly selective as they took only 90 of 10,000 applicants. Kira will graduate with a double major in Marketing and International Business and a minor in Spanish. She only needs 7 more credits / could graduate in December but since we told her college is "the best 4 years of your life," she has decided to take light loads ??  Brady just started his freshman year at the University of Oklahoma. He just joined Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
 
ALUMNI: Isabella, Isaac and Ian Mohr-
Parents: Jackie and Rich Mohr
Isabella is a senior at Evergreen HS and student body co-president at EHS as well as Co president of Key Club She works at Espresso Evergreen and Beth Evergreen. Both Isabella and Isaac work at Evergreen Lake in boating in the summer and are skate guards in the winter. Isaac is on the EHS mtn biking team and was the only Freshman last year who went to state on his team and plays baseball for EHS in the spring. Ian is in 8th grade at RMAE and this will be the 13th anf last year for The Mohrs at RMAE. He plays baseball for West Jeff and is looking forward to playing in high school next year.
 
 
ALUMNI: Brenna and Sam Nease-
Parents: Melissa and Noel Nease
Brenna is in her 5th musical at Stagedoor Theater. She will be Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof this fall. She was awesome as Judy in "9 to 5" last fall. She is part of CHS choir's ensemble called CAST. Brenna is in training to be a peer counselor at CHS and is president of Key Club. She still manages to keep a 4.5 GPA. This summer she volunteered a bunch, got her driver's license and her braces off. Sam plays a lot of baseball for CHS JV baseball team (spring, summer and fall). He is part of the Robotics team and is a science wiz (thanks Mr. Bryant). This year he is taking both AP Biology and Honors Chemistry and has a #1 class rank.

Maddy is on EHS POMS and survived AP Environmental Science passing the AP exam.
Jolie is in 7th grade at RMAE and is pursing dance and voice looking forward to participating in the middle school musical.
 
 
ALUMNI: Jonny Butcher-
Parents: Kathy and Jon Butcher
Jonny is a sophomore at EHS and has summited 19 of Colorado’s 14-ers.  He has also summited Kilimanjaro.
 
ALUMNI: Kelsey and Shannon Kittelsen-
Parents: Kathy Kittelsen and Doug & Cindy Kittelsen
Kelsey is a senior at Dartmouth - mechanical engineering with a human centered design minor. She also played on the varsity rugby team. She has held internship jobs in Chicago and Boston and is now on the hunt for her first real job in June. Kelsey wrote a book that was published on Amazon during high school. Shannon is a junior at EHS - has been in the mtn bike team since her freshman year.
 
ALUMNI: Mikayla and Morgan Novick-
Parents: Kendra and Mike Novick
Mikayla started off at Saint Mary's college of California but transferred after her Freshmen year.  She is now a Senior at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Leeds School of Business, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and  will be graduating this Spring with a major in Business Marketing with a minor in International Relations and Global Business.  Her Junior Year she studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Mikayla has had some wonderful internships with Pjur Group North America, Kolcraft, PayLink, and St Mary’s Baseball
Morgan is a Junior and also in the Leed's School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Business Marketing.  Last summer she earned  a Business of Sports Certificate; only one of 50 students are chosen in this highly selective program that develops students’ business skills applicable to the sports industry.  Currently, Morgan is  Studying Abroad through the program Semester At Sea.  Morgan's freshmen year she danced on CU-Boulders Divison 1 dance team, as well as she joined the Alpha Phi Sorority. Last year, Morgan had a year long internship at Midwest Investments as an Assistant Property Manager, as well as she just finished her fourth year working at Hiwan Golf Course as a Waitress and a Bar Cart Server.
 
ALUMNI: Samantha and Trevor Hansen-
Parents: Tracy and Aaron Hansen
During the Summer of 2016, Samantha Hansen volunteered at Mountain Community Pathways, a day program for disabled adults living in the Evergreen/Conifer/Bailey/Idaho Springs communities.  She also works at Beau Jo’s in Evergreen. She will be graduating from Lakewood IB High School this year. Trevor is a freshman at EHS and will be playing baseball for them this year.

Paul is thriving as a Freshman at Colorado School of Mines
Sophia is in 8th grade at DÉvelyn Junior/Senior High School. Sophia is a competitive Mogul Skier with Team Summit
 
ALUMNI: Meghan and Carter Morrill-
Parents: Laurie and John Morrill
Carter working towards Eagle Scout and hiked 78 miles over 11 days with Boy Scouts at Philmont this past summer. Meghan at CSU studying double major in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering, taught tennis at Hiwan over summer, played 4 yrs on EHS varsity tennis team.
 
ALUMNI: Liam and Kian Smith-
Parents: Lindy and Andy Smith
Liam is a Senior at Evergreen High and is on the Varsity Alpine Ski Tea, is a Link Crew Team Leader, and  member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has achieved Master Scuba Diver status (PADI) and Firearms Safety Instructor (NRA). He is currently in an internship with IX Power Clean Water. He plans on studying Geological Engineering in College. 
Kian is in 7th Grade and is in competitive Gymnastics.  He has finished his certifications for Rescue Diver and Emergency 1st Aid/CPR/AED and will become a Master Scuba Diver rating by December.  He has competed in Alpine and Snow Boarding in several competition and has won many championships.
 
ALUMNI: Maggie and Darby May-
Parents: Kathleen and Porter May
Maggie ia a junior at Santa Clara University and is currently studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. This summer she completed her EMT course. Darby is a senior at EHS and is currently a student intern at Outdoor Lab. Assistant for confirmation classes at Christ The King Church. Both Maggie and Darby went to Poland on a mission trip to see the Pope for World Youth Day.

ALUMNI: Quintin and Mackenzie Kurtz-

Parents: Rob and Monica Kurtz
Quintin raced mountain bikes at an international level this summer and was a member of the USA cycling team representing the US at a World Cup race in Canada and a World Championship race in Italy. Quintin is a member of the National Honor Society and is a legacy rider for the Evergreen High School Mountain Bike Team.
Mackenzie is a member of the Evergeen High School JV Softball Team and is taking AP classes.  
 
ALUMNI: Alex and Max Purrington-
Parents: Chris and Julia Purrington
Alex did the Double Triple Bypass and  the Mt. Evans hill climb race. He's doing theatre and choir at the high school as well as working at Evergreen Bike Shop :). He also builds computers in his spare time. 
Max is trying to stay out of trouble and finish middle school! We've been at Rmae for 9 years!
 
ALUMNI: Mitchell, Harrison, and William Oliveri-

Mitchell is an undergrad. student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, majoring in Economics and Business, Graduate of Mullen High School in 2014 with High Honors
Harrison is a senior at Mullen High School, Member of National Honor Society, Captain of Cross Country Team (varsity runner all 4 years), Elected member of Student Council/Government (all 4 years), President/founder of Rock Climbing and Hiking Club at Mullen 2015, Hiked the “Colorado Trail” this summer in record setting 23 days for his age (approx. 500 miles total), Assistant Swim Coach and certified lifeguard at MVCC past 2 summers.
William is a sophomore at Mullen High School, Honors student, Member of Mullen’s Cross Country Team-JV, Lacrosse Team-JV, and Swim Team-Varsity, Certified Lifeguard and swim instructor this summer at Colorado Academy
 
ALUMNI: Shayne and Seryn Grant-

Parents: Susie and Karl Grant
Shayne is a POM at EHS in her junior year. last month she and her sister, Seryn did a triathlon! Seryn is also a Broncos junior cheerleader and in 8th grade at RMAE.
 
ALUMNI: Keelie and Tayler Koecher-

Parents: Olga and Derek Koecher
Keelie made Junior National Honor Society last year and is on the JV tennis team and is a member of Lambda Sigma Chi where she volunteers on different projects for service hours  - she went to Spain this past summer for 3 weeks
Tayler made the competitive travel soccer team
