PTO Board Positions for 2023-24 School Year

Becoming a member of the PTO Board is a great way to be directly involved in supporting our school, meeting new people, and earning those volunteer hours.
Per our By-laws, all positions are open for election each year and are conducted in May. We have the following nominations thus far:

President – Aja Cary
Vice President -
Secretary –
Treasurer – Kyle Armstrong
Dir. Communications –
Dir. Of Fundraising –
Dir. Of Events –

If interested in any of these positions or would like more information, please contact [email protected].
We will hold our talent show on April 14th. Any students that are interested in participating this year, please send a 30 second video of what your talent will be / what you will be performing, and a brief snippet of your talent. Please include your name and grade level as well.  Please submit your video to [email protected]. If you have any questions, you can also email Aja at that address.  We would like to have all participants send their video no later than April 1st so that we can plan accordingly for the show on the 14th.
If you’re interested in volunteering to help with the talent show, please let Aja know.
RMAE will hold a toy drive for 2 non-profit organizations this Spring. Donation boxes will be placed in the hallways starting next week with the NPO information on the boxes.  Most requested toys include legos, art and coloring supplies, puzzles, and books.  Legos are the #1 requested toy for pediatrics so it would be great to get a good amount of legos.  All toys must be new. One hour of volunteer time is earned for each new toy you donate.  Go to AtoZ to log the hour(s). Thank you in advance for your participation.
Lunch Volunteers Needed for April. Can you please help?
Big thanks to those who have already signed up!  More slots need to be filled for April & May. Lunch volunteers distribute sandwiches on Mondays, pizza on Wednesdays, and frozen treats on Fridays. We especially need help on Mondays and Fridays.

Please click lunch volunteers to sign up on AtoZ. Questions? Please contact [email protected].  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Would you like to help our great school by serving on the Board of Directors? The Board is the policy-setting and governing entity of RMAE, and meets at least monthly to discuss budgeting, achieving academic standards, strategic planning, and campus improvements. The Board will have three vacant parent representative seats to be filled for three-year terms beginning this summer. While all parents are welcome to submit their names for candidacy, the Board is particularly interested in candidates with school education or marketing backgrounds.

If you have interest, please submit a brief letter of intent and resume by  March 31.  The letter of intent should describe your background and outline what you believe you can offer the school through Board service. The letter may be sent to Janelle Herrera at [email protected]. Once the letters are compiled and reviewed, we will hold a public meeting in April to interview and allow questions to be posed to the candidates. Details regarding the interview, election date, and process will appear in later Grizzly Growls.
Pokemon Club is BACK!
