Penny Wars are happening next week (April 10-14). This is a competition between classes. Bring in pennies to put in your teacher's container. Whoever has the most pennies at the end of the week gets to pick a staff member to endure "teacher trials"! These include: getting pied in the face, getting covered in silly string, being dressed up by the winning class, or being dunked in a dunk tank! All proceeds go toward prizes and games for the Elementary carnival on May 5th!
Behold! Theo Lamas and his handmade chair from Mr Dunbar's furniture woodworking elective.
Challenge Your Creativity Elective had an Oreo challenge to get the Oreo from their forehead to their mouth! They also had to make a portrait using only words.

This chair was part of the furniture unit in Advanced Woodworking

RMAE will hold a toy drive for 2 non-profit organizations this Spring. Donation boxes will be placed in the hallways starting next week with the NPO information on the boxes.  Most requested toys include legos, art and coloring supplies, puzzles, and books.  Legos are the #1 requested toy for pediatrics so it would be great to get a good amount of legos.  All toys must be new. One hour of volunteer time is earned for each new toy you donate.  Go to AtoZ to log the hour(s). Thank you in advance for your participation.
