Call for Lumber and Woodworking Tools for Mr. Dunbar

Do you currently have lumber or woodworking tools currently gathering dust in your garage or basement? If you'd like to find a new home for these materials and tools, Mr. Dunbar is currently looking for these items to help grow the new Woodworking Elective at RMAE. While nearly anything would be accepted, Mr. Dunbar is specifically looking for lumber (even a single 2x4 or warped piece of lumber), planes, rasps, spokeshaves, files, any sort of shaping hand tool, and smaller woodworking machines. Please reach out to Mr. Dunbar directly at [email protected] to find out how to donate.
It's time to purchase your 2022-2023 RMAE Yearbook. Please use the link below to purchase your school yearbook.  The deadline to purchase is December 16th. Don't miss out on all the school memories!
The first meeting of The Facilities Committee will be held Thursday, September 29th at 5:30pm in The Community Room at The Den.

The Facilities Committee is responsible for ensuring the regular maintenance and improvement of our existing buildings and grounds as well as advising the Principal and BOD on necessary improvements and provide expertise for various projects. We will meet once a month for about an hour at a date and time that works for the majority of the group with option to attend via Zoom. All meetings and events surrounding participation in The Facilities Committee count towards your annual volunteer hours as well!

We hope to see you Thursday 9/29 at 5:30pm!
An update from Team Cary:
Wesley had a lab appointment today that went great. He is progressing in such a positive manner, and if all the stars align, his last day of chemotherapy will be on his 7th birthday (October 18th)!

Due to the fact that we have a chemotherapy appointment this Thursday, our family will not be able to attend Light the Night. We are so grateful for everyone's contribution to LLS and to Wesley's Warriors, and we look forward to our future Non-Profit Organization, which I intend to have kicked off by early 2023!

I would like to let everyone know that my mom, brother and dad will be hosting the walk in honor of Wesley, and if anyone is interested in attending, please feel free to reach out to Vickie Williams (720-427-8483). Below is a bit of information on the Light The Night event THIS THURSDAY

If interested in purchasing t-shirts, please contact Cassandra Nassif at 720-341-5886.

Finally, if everyone could respond and send your physical address, Wesley would like to send handwritten thank you cards to each one of you for all of your support and love.

Feel free to forward this email to anyone else who has donated or purchased a t-shirt in order to stay connected to our cause and foundation. [email protected]

Sincerely

The Cary Family
