Teacher Spotlight - Jessica Hughes
Hi RMAE families,

If you haven’t met me yet I’m Jessica Hughes and I teach art to kindergarten through 4th grade. Much like my fellow STAMP teachers, I think I have the best job in the school! There’s nothing better than knowing that you’ve inspired students to create and watching their excitement grow when they learn of new ways to make art. In my classroom students create splatter paintings inspired by Jackson Pollock, design castles inspired by Gothic architecture, and even create their own Pokemon!
Art is my passion, so even outside of school you’ll find me experimenting with new media to make conceptual art. Lately I’ve been learning how to quilt and sew and I hope to learn a little about jewelry making this year.

If you have any questions or just want to tell me about an interesting art exhibit nearby feel free to email me at [email protected]

Hope to meet you soon!
Jessica
