A note from Mrs. Johnson, Assistant Principal

Hello, Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen families! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a Colorado native and have been in education for 25 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Education Leadership. For the last 13 years, I served as the principal of a Core Knowledge charter school in the Arvada area. I am excited to partner with Dr. Hudson this year to assist students, staff, and families at RMAE to have the best educational environment. One of my greatest priorities is creating a community where everyone feels welcomed, known, and valued. I am committed to knowing students by name, so I can greet them when I see them. Additionally, I am a visible, approachable, compassionate, and dedicated leader who wants to partner with families to ensure the success of their students. I look forward to getting to know and work with your family this year! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a fantastic year with the RMAE community!

To help our amazing teachers get their classrooms ready for the school year and set them up for a successful year, the PTO facilitates the Giving Apple event to ask families to purchase specific items that the teachers would love to have available to them. We request purchased items be brought to school for Giving Apple Day on Friday, September 16.
