Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from The Hart Family Foundation, RMAE will soon have a new Glowforge 3D laser printer! Mr. Dunbar is very excited and has amazing projects ready for students of all ages. We are thrilled to add this enhancement to our Technology curriculum!

2nd grade and 5th grade classes have teamed up for Book Buddies this year and they met for the first time this week. The students enjoyed getting to know their buddies and reading together!

On Friday, Einar Jensen, from the Evergreen Fire Department visited both second grade classes to teach them the importance of knowing how to dial 911 in case of an emergency, what information they need to know to do so, and examples of different types of emergencies that would require a 911 phone call.

Kindergarten got to visit the makerspace for the first time with Mrs. DeLuna! We read the story “The Dot” and learned about creativity and perseverance!

A big thank you to all that took the time to fill out the required annual update forms. If you did not complete the annual registration update, Ms Renken will be reaching out to you via email to help get this completed. This is an important part of working with the school this year and is required by Jeffco.

The district is hosting a virtual GT Information Night on September 13th. This information night will cover the basics of what GT education looks like in Jeffco, and how to apply for GT identification and programming options.

The Next PTO meeting is September 19th 3:30 in the Den.

PTO would also like to thank Ally Wall for securing Chick Fil A this school year as another lunch option! Thank you Ally!

PAWSS (parents at work for safety and security) interest PIzza Party September 21st 5pm.

This particular volunteer position is vital in keeping our students safe while in school and on campus. At RAME, we do not have a school resource officer nor formal security, so we rely on parents to assist in staff and student safety.

We currently have 3 shifts that we encourage you to volunteer for, a drop off / morning, lunch / afternoon and just before pick up / evening shift. The morning and evening shifts are one hour and the lunch shift is 15 minutes long.

Family Fun Night is almost here ! Thursday September 14th. Join us for a Ninja Gym, Go Karts, hotdogs and hamburgers and slife's shaved ice and much more! All proceeds will help the PTO fund different school initiatives this year.

Ninja Nation WAIVERS will be required for all participants.

RMAE Parents, the next School board meeting is on Sept 14th at 6:30 p.m., the same night as Family Fun night. We encourage you to join us in the upstairs Den community room. It is a great way to learn more about RMAE.

August's board meeting focused on a review of the strong financials, summer facility improvements, and the various committee needs for the school year.

If you are looking for a way to engage with the board, joining a committee can be a great way to start.
