Keep Earning and Logging those volunteer hours!
Over 2,400 hours have been logged so far. Let's make the second half of the year as strong as the first half. Committing to the 60 family hours per year has many benefits: getting to know the school community and meeting new people, helping our programs and events run smoothly, helping to fundraise for student trips, etc.  Your logged hours also show your support for our school during our charter renewal process and grant applications.  Please visit AtoZ anytime for a current list of volunteer opportunities, to sign up and record your hours. Remember anything you do on campus counts, so don't forget to log your time for attending conferences last week.
Lunch Volunteers Needed. Can you help keep these fundraisers going?
Lunch volunteers are needed throughout the week to distribute sandwiches on Mondays, pizza on Wednesdays, and frozen treats on Fridays. We especially need help on Fridays to keep the fundraiser going or we may need to put it on hold. Please click lunch volunteers to sign up on AtoZ. Questions? Please contact [email protected].  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Talent Show: School-wide talent show will be rescheduled.  More details to come.
It is hard to believe there are only 3 months left of the school year. February's board meeting primarily focused on preparing for the 2023 - 2024 school year, which included approving the Staff and Family Calendars, budget reviews, and student enrollment. In addition, the board had the pleasure of learning from guest representatives from JCSC (JeffCo Charter School Consortium).

Please join us for the next meeting on March 9th at 6:30.
Free Virtual Suicide Prevention Training for Parents & Caregivers
Please share this important training with your families: The Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical, and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us and quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know. QPR for parents/caregivers teaches people to:
  • Recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis
  • How to ask someone directly if they are feeling suicidal
  • How to refer someone to help
The next virtual training is Wednesday, March 8 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Space is limited so register now to reserve your spot.
