Teacher Spotlight - Carrie Weiker

Hello!

My name is Carrie Weiker. For the past 15 years I have been lucky enough to be a teacher, and have spent the last 5 here at RMAE. Four of those years were spent in 5th grade, and this year I am supporting students in 3rd through 6th grade inside and outside of the classroom as a Special Education Teacher. You will see me walking around with either a Dr. Pepper or cup of coffee in hand. Outside of school I am mom to a 7th grader, and wrangler of three crazy dogs. I am an avid reader, and enjoy a cozy afternoon on the couch with a book.

I am excited to see what this year brings, and looking forward to continuing to be a part of the RMAE community!

Dear RMAE families,
K-12 enrollment for the upcoming 2023-24 school year is NOW OPEN. All RMAE families should use our online enrollment system, EnrollJeffco, to indicate where their student(s) will attend school next year. Including telling us that your student will return to RMAE.

Take the PLUNGE at Evergreen Lake on New Year's Day! Whether you start 2023 by jumping into the freezing water or just watch the madness, this iconic event is not to be missed. HERE are the details for the PLUNGE. All proceeds benefit Active4All Evergreen.

Come play a mix of snow games, snowshoeing, and winter fun with RMAE’s awesome PE teacher, Ms. Best! This session will be outdoors. Winter clothing is a MUST!

The Evergreen High School VarsityPoms are hosting their annual Junior Poms Clinic on Jan. 27 from 4pm - 8pm at EHS. This is one of the team's most popular and successful events that includes dinner and a halftime performance!
