Evergreen Living wants to represent young voices! During the month of February, Evergreen Living magazine is running a CONTEST to name our new and upcoming "Youth Voices" (actual name to be determined by local students) section. This feature in the magazine will be a place where young folks (K-12) can send in their writing, poems, and other forms of expression for publication in the magazine. We won't be able to print them all, most likely, but we will do our best. ENTRIES for naming the magazine section must come from students (K-12) and should be sent to [email protected] by February 28, 2023.

Dear Families,

The winter season brings cooler weather, often a dusting of snow and the chance to spend more time indoors.  This is the perfect opportunity to engage in conversations around digital wellness. Our district partners at Common Sense Education continue to provide schools and families with resources to grow healthy habits and skills needed to use technology safely and responsibly in school, at home, and beyond.

Throughout the year we spotlight digital citizenship themes and topics for our schools and families to engage in through conversations and learning opportunities. We invite you to explore these topics each season with us or visit Common Sense Media to support the needs of your student(s) and family.

Hello RMAE families! My name is Darby May. I graduated from RMAE in 2014, EHS in 2017, and in December 2022 I graduated with a Social Studies Broadfield Secondary Education degree from Montana State University. I am in Evergreen until the end of the school year and would like to offer after-school tutoring for RMAE students in grades 3 through 8.
I am able to tutor students in English (Literacy & Writing), Math, Social Studies, and Spanish either in one-on-one sessions or in a small group setting. Individualized learning plans and goal setting will be provided for each student. We will focus on applying the material to everyday scenarios and developing life-long effective study practices (that parents can help their students with, too!). Each tutoring session is 55 minutes long costing $45/one-on-one session, $35/student for two-student sessions, and $30/student for small groups of 3-4 students.
As a student who has utilized tutoring, I know how empowering it is for kids to have personalized time with an advocate for their holistic success. If you are interested and/or have any questions, please contact me at (720)255-3470 or [email protected]. I look forward to working with you! Blessings, Darby May
