Classroom News

 


Spanish
 - This week students decorated balloons and with skull faces for The Day of the Dead. A few classes also got their hands a bit sticky by making their own sugar skulls! Next week, we are hoping to decorate and display them, so stop by the Spanish classroom to see some sweet creations!

 

 

RMAE Happenings


November's Hot Lunch Order - Deadline for ordering - Thursday, November 15th.  Please follow the link below to place your order, after which, your school account will be billed.  Payments may then be made on Jeffco Connect, or payment may be dropped off at the front office.

Cold Weather Clothing - We care about your children and want them to be happy and comfortable.  As we know, Colorado weather can change very quickly and as we move into fall/winter, please be sure your children are prepared for the cold and snow with hats, gloves, warm jackets, boots, and snow pants (labeled them with their names).  Students are expected to be outside everyday during recess and on days they have P/E.

After School Clubs/Activities 

 

Audition Workshop - Is your middle school child interested in increasing his or her confidence in musical auditioning?  Mountain Youth Musicals is offering a two day audition workshop on November 8th and November 29th, 3:15 - 5:00 at RMAE.  There are 10 spots left.  Please email Gretchen Moritz at [email protected] if you have questions.  You may reserve your spot by signing up Mountain Youth Musicals - Workshops

RMAE Board News

 

The next Board meeting will be held tomorrow, Saturday, November 3rd from 11:00 to noon at Mount Vernon Canyon Club.  Everyone is welcome to attend. There is time allotted for public comment at the beginning and at the end of each meeting. Wrestling Camp @ Colorado School of Mines - December 27-28, 9 AM-12 PM - Our camps give parents a great option to send their child to a sports camp in a closely supervised environment during times they might be working and in need of daycare/child supervision over winter break.  Ages 5-18 (open to beginners & experienced wrestlers) - $60 with pre-registration - $75 for walk-in.  Mines Westling Registration/Information Link
