A Message from the Principal

Hello RMAE families,

I hope everyone stayed warm, safe, and enjoyed an unexpected 3-day weekend!  Another event, this one planned, is on Saturday, February 29th.  The Board of Directors approved to pursue the possibility of building a gym/multipurpose building.  We have contracted with Neenan Archistruction who has done many successful projects for charter schools to create a plan.  At the same time, we are pursuing refinancing our current bond.  Lots of exciting things happening and we want your voice to be included!

On February 29th our community will engage in a Collaborative Design Process with Neenan facilitating and architects attending.  The goal is to gather community input to maximize every construction dollar, hear all voices in the design, and deliver a lower cost facility that meets our needs.  The day will consist of stakeholders contributing, listening, and sharing in the development of the dreams and ideas for our new gym/multipurpose building.  Our ideas will then be prioritized based on what is the best fit for RMAE.  This will be a day long work session from 9a-6p where we will receive real-time feedback on critical elements of design, scope, budget and schedule, as options are analyzed.  Our stakeholders voice is critical to a successful day.  If you would like to be a part of this important process, please email Dr. Hudson at [email protected].

Your Proud Principal,

Dr. Ann Hudson
