Sixth graders participated in a Holiday Fest recently. They enjoyed researching Holiday Traditions from around the world including dressing up, bringing in food and learning a song or dance from that culture.
Mrs. Wellman's class studied Hansel and Gretel as part of their Core Curriculum and took it a little further. They did a three day project that involved creating a map that we built collaboratively by having each group work on a section. Students then designed “houses” with milk cartons, candy and brown construction paper. Finally, we added the pine cone trees, and needles, and snowmen.
The Shoe Drive was a huge success! Thank you to everyone that donated and to Mr. Whitson for organizing the collection.

The Evergreen Lake Plunge is on New Year's Day. The Evergreen Lake Plunge is on New Year's Day. This is an iconic Evergreen event, and a great way to support the EPRD scholarship program!
