A Message from the Principal

Hello RMAE families,
The results of the initial Annual Giving Drive are in.  I am excited to announce to date about half of RMAE families have participated for a total of $63,000!  Through the power of your donations we’ll be able to fund:

  • Technology in the classroom:  Curriculum subscriptions to Discovery Education, Learning Ally, Brain Pop, and RAZ Kids.  Ten additional chromebooks, Hummingbird Robotic sets, Lego Robotic sets, and Chromecasts
  • Staff Professional Development:  Colorado League of Charter School conferences, Math teacher trainings and Core Knowledge seminars
  • Curriculum enrichments:  Elementary science textbooks, middle school math counts, middle school electives, and elementary spelling bee entry fees
  • Facility upgrades:  Elementary lockers, display boards, whiteboards, and additional storage for middle school science
  • Enhancements for specials classes:  IPads, Music Stands, Instruments and repair, Night of the Arts, Art Supplies, PE equipment, Spanish dictionaries

It’s not too late to donate.  With additional family participation we will be able to invest even more into our classrooms.  THANK YOU to all of you who have made donations and those who plan on it.  Together, we’re enriching the educational experience at RMAE.
