First Grade experienced their first Maker Space of the new school year!
Students explored how to use the cardboard box tools and practiced collaboration and cooperation.  These tools will be used as they enter into the Core Knowledge Science curriculum studying the human body.  Students will create a basic cardboard skeletal system and add the organs as they progress through the unit.

A message from the Principal

Hello RMAE families,

It is truly an honor and privilege that you have entrusted your child’s education with us.  As such, we take a team approach to best support your child so please don’t hesitate to reach out to our teachers throughout the year.  The staff contact information is on our website under “About RMAE” then “Faculty and Staff.”

We look forward to seeing you at our Back to School Nights this week.  You will have an opportunity to learn about the core and special classes as well as experience firsthand our staffs’ positive energy, dedication, and nurturing approach in supporting all students. Fifth through eighth grade is on Tuesday and Kinder through 4th grade is on Wednesday, both from 6:00 – 7:30.  Please look for your specific schedule here Schedule.  If you have any questions, contact your child’s teacher.

I wish all you a safe and fun long weekend!

Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Ann Hudson
