Mr. Piwowar's Bio

Hello! I am excited to be your 7th and 8th grade teacher at our amazing school! 

My name is Mr. Piwowar, I love social studies, especially ancient history, and this is my fourth year teaching. I grew up around St. Cloud, Minnesota where the Summers are wonderful for three months, then the (almost) nine months of Winter are brutal. I met my wife while we were in third grade, and we got married in the Winter of our freshman year of college. We now live in beautiful Colorado and have one daughter. 

In addition to social studies, I love the outdoors and just about everything you can do under the sun. A few of my favorite activities include snowboarding, playing chess, and disc golfing! My favorite book series is The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. I have read the first two books of the trilogy many times and have eagerly awaited the third for twelve years. 

I can't wait to meet you all and I look forward to a wonderful year together!
