A request and message from Mr Todd, the school facilities manager:

We are in need of a welder for a very small project to fix a lacrosse pole. If this is a talent of yours, please contact Renee Renken [email protected] to arrange a time to come by. Thank you.

In Addition we would like to recap some of the additional measures we are taking to combat what is already a strong start to cold and flu season:

RMAE follows Jefferson County Health Department Guidelines for Health and Safety and uses all EPA Certified cleaners and disinfectants.

Nightly- Entire property gets cleaned and disinfected including bathrooms, classrooms, common areas and high touch points.

Common areas and high traffic areas disinfected throughout the day.

Classrooms are equipped with a Synexis System- Bio Defense to Improve Air Quality

Electrostatic sprayer is used daily in bathrooms and unoccupied classrooms for efficient and rapid disinfection

Hand washing stations throughout the school

Hand sanitizer offered when hand washing is not available

Sadly, the weather did not cooperate with our previous open house date but we have rescheduled the prospective family open house to November 29th- Please help us spread the word about the new date and time to any families who may want to come and find out more about RMAE!

Ms Smith's Green Team Elective helped pick up Halloween trash around campus! Thank you!

Ms Pumphrey's Art room has been a hive of activity lately !

5th. Graders have been making pet portraits in art using a printmaking technique, markers, and colored pencils.

7th graders are making observational drawings then painting them with watercolor.

Last week we had ALOT of different types of weather for recess !

Calling all dads! Come watch the Broncos take on the Bills tonight at Wild Game. Enjoy some food and time hanging out with other RMAE Dads. Invite a few friends and cheer on the Broncos. The game starts at 6:15p.

Movies with Teachers is back! We are so excited to bring back this fun event on November 30 th.
Students will have the opportunity to wear pjs to school for the day. After school, parent volunteers will help get kids to their movie classroom.
They will enjoy a movie with popcorn, a fruit snack and water. Pick-up will be promptly at 5:30p.

Thanksgiving Gratitude from the RMAE Board of Directors

As Thanksgiving draws near, the Board of Directors extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional RMAE teachers, faculty, students, and families. Your collective dedication forms the foundation of our thriving community. The recent board meeting highlighted some of the many wonderful endeavors in place, including the outstanding efforts of the Middle School Student Council with the haunted hallway and upcoming school dance, the new Bear Buddies peer counseling program, and the dedication to education, after-school enrichment, and community service.

We also express sincere thanks to families who participated in the Annual Giving campaign. Your generosity makes a significant impact. If you intended to contribute but didn't get around to it, donations are still being accepted here.

As we approach this season of gratitude, let us reflect on the collective strength of our community and the positive influence we have on the lives of our students. Thank you for being an integral part of RMAE.

NEW 5th Grade Boys Basketball Team!

We are happy to announce that RMAE is getting a 5th grade boys Basketball team this year! Thank you to Chad Crotty who will be the coach and who is organizing this!
The practices will be at Bergen Valley on Tuesdays from 5-6p starting January 9th.
