A message from Dr Hudson

Important save the date:

Jeffco Charter School Consortium will be hosting a school board candidate forum on Wednesday, Sept. 27th, 6:30 to 8 PM at Addenbrooke Classical Academy. This forum will be the only school board forum focused solely on charter school issues so it is very important our parents attend. Two seats will be on the Nov. 7th ballot. While directors must reside within a specific director boundary, the entire county votes on candidates in each of the director districts.

- Annual Registration Update- mandatory annual update see link below deadline is September 1st.
-Save the date for Family Fun Night September 14th 4-7pm
-Food Orders are live- deadline is September 1st.
-Volunteer to help the PTO in various ways and don't forget to log your hours.

Carpooling info:

RMAE is part of a program called school pool. In September you will receive an email (unless you opted out in the annual update) letting you know who from our school lives near you and how to contact them if you wish to start a carpool.

In the meantime, a good place to start if you want to try and get a carpool going is our RMAE parents facebook page. LINK

Students were tasked with building Fairy Tales with a twist this week!

Rocky visited Kindergarten last week!

Middle School Student Council is campaigning until Tuesday when they will hold elections!

Slacklining Middle School Elective with Mr Hudson.

3rd grade experimenting with different ways and their effects in making "rocket fuel." They will be building rockets and sending them into space in their tech class with Mr Dunbar.

FULL YEAR and 1^st “QUARTER” FOOD ORDERS - Deadline, Friday, September 1st

Please visit AtoZ/(Membership toolkit) to place Jimmy John’s, Domino’s and Chick fil A orders for full year or 1st "quarter" (Sept. & Oct.) These fundraisers help support middle school trips. Orders will be taken through Friday, September 1st. No late orders accepted. Food must be pre-ordered – no same day sales.

Family Fun Night is almost here ! Thursday September 14th. Join us for a Ninja Gym, Go Karts, hotdogs and hamburgers and slife's shaved ice and much more! All proceeds will help the PTO fund different school initiatives this year.

WAIVERS will be required for all participants (once we have the waivers we will send them out to families prior to the event)

PTO Bingo Night - Thur, Sept 7th, 7pm - 8:30pm. WildGame - Adults only.

Join the PTO for a fun adults only event. All proceeds benefiting RMAE PTO.
