Young Writers Conference - Thursday, April 11th, 6 - 8:30 pm - Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade and their families are invited to the  Mountain Area Young Writers’ Conference to celebrate writing! This special night includes:

• Featured Author, Theresa Howell
• Sharing of children’s writing 
• Specialized learning workshops for parents
• Book Fair

Registration is open from March 1st through March 22nd.  Further instructions will be emailed upon registration. Please read all the information carefully!

BINGO Mardi Gras Night - NOTE DATE CHANGE - Tuesday, March 5th, 6:30-8:00 PM -  Join us at 5:30 pm to purchase food and drinks.  Fun for the whole family!  Proceeds benefit our school!  

El Carnaval Celebrations in Spanish Class - Hola!   4th-8th graders will soon be learning more about the Spanish culture, this time about El Carnaval.   We will be learning about why and how the Spanish Carnaval is an integral part of Spain's culture.  We will then wrap up our learning and awaken our creativity by making Carnaval masks!

The next Board meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 7:00 pm in the music room next to the technology room in the back of the first building. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is time allotted for public comment at the beginning and at the end of each meeting. Kids Yoga Returns to RMAE!  Begins February 4th, Mondays - K-5 -  We welcome your children to join us for these fun, play-based classes that will nurture balance, health, and optimal wellbeing. All classes include movement, games, mindfulness and relaxation techniques while offering a safe space for kids to connect with other children and our trained teachers in a fun way.

Young Rembrandts - New Session Begins Monday, March 4th - K-5th - The season of Spring gives our artists new inspiration and lessons like the Bee Graphic and historical Model T. Creativity, imagination and whole brain learning are all happening every week. Sign up today!

Chess Wizards - New Session Begins Wednesday, April 3rd - 3:15-4:15 pm.  Classes are designed for beginners as well as the seasoned checkmate artist.  Studies have shown that chess enhances cognitive development, improves scholastic performance and boosts confidence.

Wait Until 8th is sponsoring a “Demystifying the Vaping Crisis” presentation - March 11th, 6:30 pm at Willmot Elementary Gym.  Did you know Colorado ranks #1 in teenage vaping out of 37 surveyed states?  38% of High Schoolers and 13% of Middle Schoolers have tried vaping.  Education is the key to prevention.  Fourth grade and older students are welcome to attend.

EHS Proudly Presents - Big Fish - Join us as we celebrate fantasy and imagination and the endearing love of family.  The tales are tall and the adventures grand in this heartwarming, family-friendly musical full of exciting dance numbers, mermaids and witches!  Come see our RMAE Alumni, who make 20 of the cast and crew!  What a testament to our Theater programs and to Gretchen Moritz!
