News from the Board

The BoD is extremely pleased with how well the school has recovered and thrived over this past school year. We would like to thank all of the teachers, staff, parents, and students who have worked so hard to make this possible.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Hudson for her leadership, inspiration, and endless hours she has dedicated to moving the school forward. Her leadership has propelled RMAE out of significant debt, improved the math curriculum, significantly increased enrollment and donations, and allowed the school to retain almost all of our wonderful teachers.

Our deep appreciation also goes to Deborah Kelly and Gil Gomez for their careful attention to the budget that has restored RMAE's financial solvency.

Mike Geiger has completed his term on the BoD. We are grateful for his dedication and hard work to help the school get back on track during a very difficult time. His wit and thoughtful questions have been invaluable.

We would also like to congratulate Ms. Hines and Ms. Hushen on their retirement. We deeply appreciate all you have done to provide a challenging and inspiring education to our children. You have been invaluable to the school and you will be greatly missed.

The next BoD meeting will be held on June 14 at 7:00 pm in the music room next to the tech room. All are invited and there is time for public comment at the beginning and the end of the meeting.

Have a wonderful and relaxing summer.
