Art - Pumphrey (5th - 8th)

My name is Brinda Lane-Pumphrey and I love teaching art! This is my eleventh year at RMAE teaching middle school art and my third year teaching fifth grade art.

I grew up in Littleton. I am a member of the Art Students League of Denver, the Colorado Art Education Association, 40 West Arts where I frequently show my paintings, and Foothills Art Center. I love teaching art! I also love making art. I primarily work in 2-D using oil paints, acrylic paints, watercolor paints, and drawing. I also express my creativity in a wide variety of other mediums like baking and building crazy gingerbread houses with my daughters. We have built Hagrid's Hut, a castle, a Hobbit hole h
ouse, the Burrow/Weasley's house, the Death Star (picture below), etc..

The best way to reach me is by email. I work Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings, and Fridays, so if you leave a voicemail I won't get it until the next time I work. I check my emails frequently, even on my days off. My email is: [email protected]

Announcements

Welcome to the fine art website for the RMAE Middle School. Please visit your child's grade to see what we will be doing in the art room this year.

Online Art Gallery at Artsonia.com

Please go to the RMAE online art gallery to see the fabulous work the middle school students have been creating this year and in previous years  at:

https://www.artsonia.com/schools/school.asp?id=83450

I will be uploading art into the gallery throughout the year. Students can use the code STFC-DJJC to submit art to Artsonia.

All parents must go to the website and give permission for their student's art to be displayed or it will not be visible to the public. Last names are never on the website.

Individual Portfolios on Artsonia

You can click on your child's Student Profile to see their personal portfolio of work. It will include everything I have published from 5th - 8th grade. It is really nice if you leave comments about the art for your child. You can also share the website with family and friends so they can see what your child has been creating in art.
