A Message from the Principal

Dear RMAE Families,

We are kicking off our Annual Giving Campaign, “All In,” on October 14th.   To continue enhancing the educational experience at our school the goal is 100% participation.  Thank you to everyone who completed the survey and shared your priorities.  As a result of your input, all donations will go towards staff professional development, technology, specials, and curriculum enhancements.  Thank you for making a difference. We are very grateful for your support and involvement in RMAE.

Giving Apple
THANK YOU so much to all the families, along with the support of the PTO, who contributed to the Giving Apple! We had a blast gifting all items to the staff on Friday. They loved receiving fun things to enhance your kiddo’s school experiences each day! Purchases have already begun to be put to good use. With your generosity, we presented over $10,000 worth of teacher and staff requests! Our RMAE family is truly the best.

**In addition, if you were the family who graciously purchased the Alphabet Readers from Orton Gillingham, could you please reach out to Bre Boyle at [email protected] so we can get those digital files to the staff member that requested them, thank you.

Log Your Volunteer Hours - We strive for the 60 hours per family time commitment that was written into our charter by the original founders in 1999. Tracking these hours is fundamental for us to keep our JeffCo School District charter, as well as to obtain grants that will improve our school. For assistance in logging your volunteer hours in AtoZ Connect (http://atozconnect.com), go to the Volunteering page on our website

Reminders

Grocery Store Fundraisers:  King Soopers has launched a new community giving program that is connected to your loyalty card, rather than to a re-loadable gift card. Link your loyalty card to the organization of your choice and shop with King Soopers. For instructions on how to sign up, download the instruction document: King Soopers Community Rewards Program.

Safeway-
Each time you add funds to your re-loadable gift card, 5% will be donated directly to RMAE PTO. For every $100 loaded, ONE HOUR of volunteer time will be credited towards your family's 60 hour volunteer requirement. Order Safeway re-loadable gift cards via www.atozconnect.com. The cost per card is $5 and this amount will be pre-loaded on your card so you will get a full refund the first time you use the card. Questions about the grocery store program, please contact Carrie Wassemiller ([email protected]).
